Dancing for Rain

We’re losing daylight but I cant work any faster.
Under the veil of dusk we go on,
Don’t close your eyes.
What if it all disappears in the shadows that reach for the stars?

The last six months have been great, but the last two days were amazing. Hard to put in to words, but they’ve left me with a sense of intense longing, happiness, and anticipation. The kind of experience that just blows away your day-to-day life, no matter how interesting, comfortable, or fun that is. I spent two days snowboarding at Hood with my friend from school. We finished by laying in a natural hot spring, smelling cedar, watching the stars come out above us and the snow crystals sparkle at our feet.

Early season at Mount Hood

Here we are on the slopes, above the most beautiful backyard on the planet.

I’m very behind in some work, but I feel like I’m accomplishing everything I hoped to this fall. I’m getting ready for bigger goals. I want to put myself on the line, to make an impact. I want a family.

This is water.
